Provide intervention sessions to raise attainment levels The Role : This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is focused on delivering academic interventions to pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you’ll plan and lead small group sessions or 1 : 1 support targeting literacy and numeracy. You’ll monitor pupil progress, adapt your approach to meet individual needs, and contribute to raising attainment across the school. The Candidate : Ideal for a graduate with aspirations to become a teacher, this role suits someone with strong communication skills, initiative, and a genuine passion for education. You should be confident working with primary-aged pupils and comfortable leading academic sessions. Previous experience with children, either through voluntary or paid work, will be beneficial.
