Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Senior Engineer on a Rail infrastructure project in the Northumberland area.

Responsibilities :

• Have previous experience working on Rail projects including Civils, RC Structures, service / drainage installation, etc.
• Work with designers for planning requirements.
• Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to several site Engineers and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
• Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed Specification.
• Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
• Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying / ordering materials such as concrete, rebar, drainage / earthworks materials, etc.
• Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
• Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
