Overview

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit an Occupational Health Advisor or Nurse to join their team in Warton on a permanent basis.

The Occupational Health Nurse or Advisor is an integral part of the team, providing a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care our clients receive.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Carry out fitness for work / safety critical medicals
  • Provide health surveillance medicals (audio, spiro, skin & HAVs)
  • Case Management
  • Travel Health Assessments and administer vaccines
  • Provide Minor Treatments and advice.
  • Deliver some wellbeing clinics.
  • Ensure clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practice

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Previous Occupational Health experience is preferable.
  • Registered Nurse (Part 1)
  • Experience within A&E
  • Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
