Qualifications / Essential Requirements :

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or power systems and power electronics subjects or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC business.
• Lead design and development of event and rate driven application software for control and protection systems.
• Competent on functional characteristics of power systems and interactions between AC and HVDC systems.
• Knowledge of PSCAD and competent using MATLAB-SIMULINK simulation tools.
• Promote Agile Software development practices within the team.
• Lead team members on Git, Jira and Confluence for version control, task / defect management and documentation.
• Strong written / verbal communication skills and can-do attitude.
