General Science Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated General Science Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team at a vibrant school. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with engaging and practical science lessons.

As a Science Teacher , you will play a key role in fostering a love for science, developing students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical skills , and preparing them for future studies and careers in STEM fields. This role begins April 2025.

Duties of a General Science Teacher :

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 .
• Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to a general science standard, ensuring students develop a well-rounded understanding.
• Create interactive and practical learning experiences to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress to ensure high levels of attainment.
• Differentiate lessons to support the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL students .
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage with parents and carers to support student progress.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities .
