What youll be doing.

Working within the Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) department at ZEISS we are looking for a Project Buyer to become a key player in our global Supply Chain Management Organisation.

You will :

Take ownership of the supply chain for a cuttingedge electron microscope product line.

Work closely with expert teams in the UK and Germany and with global suppliers.

Drive supply chain strategies for new product launches and engineering changes.

Negotiate contracts that deliver value whilst fostering strong partnerships.

Collaborate with R&D Product Management and Operations to bring revolutionary products to life.

Your responsibilities will include :

Acting as the Supply Chain Representative for new product introductions and redesign projects.

Develop and execute innovative supply chain strategies aligned with Zeisss vision.

Manage procurement processes with precision from RFQs to purchase orders.

Oversee engineering change management to ensure flawless .

Address challenges headon and implement creative solutions.

Serve as the vital link between internal teams and external suppliers ensuring seamless communication.

You are a passionate forwardthinking professional with :

Solid experience in Supply Chain Management New Product Introduction Procurement or Project Management.

Advanced SAP skills and expertise in Microsoft Office tools.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.

Exceptional communication .and negotiation prowess.

A proactive mindset with the flexibility to travel 1020 to Germany or supplier sites
