Document Controller

This is to work on a new project based in the hub of Central London on a £70 million High End Mixed use scheme.

They are paying up to £45K and is a great opportunity to work for a well known reputable company on a fantastic Central London project.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of Asite CDE, carrying out QA checks
• Ensuring permission to download and upload to the appropriate folders is set up accordingly
• Ensuring permission to issue various forms i.e. RFIs is granted accordingly
• Control Information flow across project
• Controlling workflows and liaising with design team for when information is ‘stuck’ in the workflow
• Liaising with the design team and subcontractors for when information is QA rejected and needs amending and reuploading
• Requesting Issue Sheets from the Design Team following up any large upload to ensure information issued on Asite corresponds to the information on the consultants issue reports
• Controlling and updating all project drawings and schedules
• Liaising with Technical Coordinators with regards to updated drawings / drawing register
• Carrying out regular drawing audits to make sure the correct revisions are being used by the Project Team at all times
• Making sure that drawings are kept up to date and current
• Manage new and existing Asite users – both internal and external – ensure all users have the correct access and control levels.
• Ensuring and reminding originators of RFI to close out any open forms where response is been received .
• Coordinate with consultant / sub-contractor document controllers
• Monitor overdue workflow and approvals
• Report on workflows and progress to the Information Manager and Project Manager.
• Encouraging teams to use Asite for viewing drawings where possible instead of printing out drawing sets
