Salary : £45K

Shift : Monday to Friday

Monday to Thursday : 8.30am – 6.00pm

Friday : 8.30am – 3.00pm

Location : Inverclyde (Greenock)

Regular Holidays : 1 week in April, 2 weeks in Summer, 9 days for Christmas, September Weekend, May Day, Easter Monday. (approx. 1.5 months)

An ideal candidate should have / be :

• Qualified to HNC / HND level or equivalent within a relevant Mechanical discipline or possessing equivalent experience to be able to diagnose faults, repair, and fine-tune mechanical equipment.
• Experience of working within a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
• Qualified to 17th Edition IET Electrical Regulations.
• Relevant experience with steam boilers, compressors, pumps, valves, conveyors, weighing equipment.
• Machine shop expertise.
• Demonstrable experience of driving equipment process improvements within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on engineer with a “can-do” attitude and a desire to understand and improve the manufacturing process.
