HGV Class 2 Driver

Backline Logistics are looking for HGV Class 2 / Category C drivers to join our fleet of professional drivers, to work for a range of companies in Plymouth and surrounding areas.
Duties could include but are not limited to : palletised multidrop, cage work, and / or general distribution (, building supplies, tyres, metals or parcels).
The ideal candidate will have had at least one year of HGV Class 2 / Category C driving experience . Applications will still be considered if you have had less than one year's experience, but can demonstrate other relevant Class 2 / Category C or rigid vehicle experience.
Usual hours of work are Monday to Friday , start times between 06 : 000am and 08 : 00am . You will be paid for a minimum of 8 or 9 hours per shift , client dependent. Rates of pay between ££ per hour PAYE , based on experience. Full-time, part-time, and ad-hoc hours available.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- You must hold a full UK Class 2 / Category C License with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- You must hold a current and valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Possess a broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
- Be clean and professional at all times.
- Possess good written and spoken communication skills.
