Contract Length : 15 months, full time

We’re looking for a Project Manager in the Microbes and Food Safety programme.

An exciting opportunity to help launch a Norwich Centre for Microbiology has become available. The post holder will manage the development, organisation and launch of a new virtual centre to promote the strength, breadth and depth of microbiology research from the Norwich Research Park.

The role

This position will be to support development of the Centre by liaising with key stakeholders from across the research park. Main activities will be to help commission and distribute a website, communications and marketing material. To organise relevant events including a conference and to engage with and help create novel content from across the park.

The ideal candidate

The successful applicant should hold a PhD in a related discipline with experience in science communication and project management. They will have knowledge of a research environment and skills in critical thinking and independent problem solving.

Additional information

Salary on appointment will be within the range £34,950 to £37,800 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time post for a contract of 15 months.
