We are looking for a Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud Solutions Architect to play a key role in optimising business and technology change within our Sales and Services function.
The Salesforce solution architect’s role is to evaluate all business requirements in the sales and service functions and come up with solutions in the form of products or services. Once they are given a problem, solution architects are not only in charge of finding answers but also of actively leading the technical vision to success.
Responsibilities :
The Salesforce Solutions Architect will demonstrate competencies across four key dimensions :
- Interpret Business Needs : Translates sales and service business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.
- Assess Technology : Monitors the current-state solution portfolio in the sales and service functions to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.
- Apply Technology : Leads evaluation, design and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific sales and service and associated business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, business requirements and enterprise standards.
- Provides deliverables like high level design and low-level designs against AVEVA’s standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs to support architectural governance to assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment on the business and IT estate.
Skills and qualifications :
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experienceA minimum of five years of experience in an IT solution development disciplineExposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments but specifically around sales and services technologies.Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating modelsGood understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debtExperience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not requiredExperience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmapsExperience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiencesExperience of design and solutioning of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud is essentialA broad experience of other sales and service solutions and technologiesGood understanding of various database technologiesData savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network and securityProven analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with developers
