If you’re ready to take on a high-impact position where you’ll be responsible for managing manpower, overseeing technical service projects, and driving operational excellence, we want to hear from you!The successful Technical Services Manager will be responsible for : Leading a large team of permanent employees, including Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and up to 100 offshore service technicians, ensuring efficient manpower allocation and technical project delivery.Managing technical service projects from mobilisation to execution and demobilisation, ensuring compliance with safety, operational, and client requirements.Acting as a key client liaison, providing updates, managing expectations, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.Developing and implementing project execution plans, safe systems of work, and department procedures, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry best practices.Overseeing resource planning, ensuring the right personnel are deployed for offshore installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.Supporting the technical transformation of the department, developing internal staff to enhance technical capability beyond workforce management.Regularly travelling to sites in East & West Coast of the UK, Taiwan, and other international locations as required.The ideal Technical Services Manager will have : A mechanical or electrical engineering background (HNC or similar) with experience in offshore wind, power generation, or large-scale industrial plant maintenance.Proven leadership experience, managing both office-based and offshore field teams.Strong project management experience, overseeing maintenance campaigns and technical service projects.A solid understanding of WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) service operations or balance of plant maintenance.The ability to develop and implement safety and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with offshore industry standards.Excellent organisational skills, with experience in manpower planning and resource allocation.NEBOSH qualification is desirable but not essential – the company is willing to support obtaining this in the first year.This is an exciting opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role with a forward-thinking company that values professional growth.
