Digital Project Lead | Uniphar Commercial

About the role

We’re looking for a talented Digital Project Lead who wants to create exceptional work and help shape our rapidly expanding multidisciplinary agency.

Reporting to the Head of Digital, you’ll have experience leading on the successful delivery of websites and build projects across a range of technologies. You are comfortable working closely with clients and leading a team of front and back-end developers to produce quality work on time.

A pragmatic approach to solving web design problems and defining the appropriate delivery methodology for each specific engagement is important. The ideal candidate strives for excellence by continually assessing and implementing best practices to maintain the business’s production of best-in-class work.

You’ll mentor members of the digital team to help develop clever concepts to deliver on client objectives for major brands across global platforms. You’ll collaborate with designers, UX, strategists, marketers and client managers whilst building good client relationships and contributing to a positive company culture.

Project and Resource Planning

  • Assigning and helping to oversee projects within our project management systems
  • Contributing to project delivery plans within the delivery team
  • Liaising with client and partner agency stakeholders
  • Coordinate with project managers to develop and maintain project plans, timelines and budgets
  • Effectively communicate project progress, milestones and challenges
  • Coordinate the teams response to regulatory changes across the digital portfolios

Website development

  • Confident in leading web development projects and articulating solutions with cross-functional teams
  • Developing dynamic and responsive web builds based on designs from our Design and UX teams
  • Develop a roadmap of improvement initiatives to be support and streamline future projects
  • Coordinate complex development projects in an agile way to optimise working efficiencies across the team
  • Monitor and maintain the health and performance of ongoing projects
  • Team Lead

  • Mentoring a team of front and backend developers, contributing to staff appraisals, performance management and hiring of new talent
  • Joining client calls to discuss and understand briefs, problem solve and offer appropriate solutions and value
  • Supporting the team with guidance, training recommendations, example-setting, motivation, troubleshooting assistance, performance feedback and project oversight
  • Alongside this you’ll be assisting in the development of the agency’s digital offering. Further opportunity also exists working across global digital projects.

    It is a fast moving and dynamic environment, with multiple quick turnaround projects being delivered in tandem with longer-term builds.

    Skills / Knowledge :

  • Strong agency experience
  • Strong experience and understanding of front-end and back-end capability
  • Expert knowledge of WordPress CMS
  • HTML5, CSS
  • Experience building corporate or educational websites
  • Understanding of UX, SEO, Google Analytics
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party applications and working with API
  • Experience setting up email campaigns and program automations
  • Detailed knowledge of integrating and working with CRM systems
  • Understanding of UX / UI trends
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Calm under pressure, excellent time management and planning skills
  • Experience mentoring junior members of team, offering feedback on work
  • At least 3 years experience in an agency environment
  • A diverse portfolio that exhibits a range of web build experience
  • Experience working with the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry is desirable
  • Education :

    Digital / Web design related degree (or equivalent experience)
