Critical Shift Engineer - 50k - 52k - Enfield North LondonShift Pattern : Continental Days & NightsBenefits : Onsite parking, specialist training on HV & LV systems, career development opportunitiesAre you an experienced Critical Shift Engineer with a passion for teamwork and operational excellence?We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Critical Shift Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team based in Enfield, North London. This exciting role offers a competitive salary of £50,000 - £52,000, with the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where teamwork is key to success.About the Role : As a Critical Shift Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continued operation of a critical site, managing both HV (High Voltage) and LV (Low Voltage) systems. You’ll work within a dedicated engineering team to maintain and repair key infrastructure, while following a Continental Days & Nights Shift Pattern, ensuring 24 / 7 site operations.Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and repair HV & LV systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Monitor and respond to equipment faults or failures in line with critical site protocols.
  • Work as part of a close-knit engineering team to deliver outstanding service and teamwork every day.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and take proactive measures to prevent equipment failures.
  • Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance on key systems and equipment.
  • Work with other engineers and stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.Ideal Candidate :
  • Proven experience working in critical site environments (data centres, industrial plants, etc.).
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with HV & LV systems (training provided).
  • Excellent team player with the ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work on a Continental Shift Pattern including days and nights.
  • Health and safety conscious with a good understanding of engineering best practices.Benefits :
