Qualified Social Worker - Childrens / Safeguarding

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker within the Referral and Assessment service in the Social work Industry. Our client Northeast Lincolnshire Council has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels.The role offers flexible working hours for working parents and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Luton.Main duties include : Conducting Child Protection Investigations, including Section 47 inquiries.Contributing to strategy discussions and multi-agency safeguarding meetings.Preparing and presenting detailed reports for Child Protection Conferences.Managing child protection plans and ensuring regular reviews.Working collaboratively with other agencies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at risk.Initiating care proceedings when necessary to protect children from harm.
