Job description

Main purpose of the role :

This role will be reporting into the Global Head of Trade & Transaction Reporting. The Regulatory Reporting SME will also be responsible for supporting the Head and Deputy Head of Trade and Transaction Reporting, in ensuring that the Firm is meeting all its reporting obligations.

Key responsibilities :

  • Stakeholder management across Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Change Management and Technology
  • Exception management and root cause analysis for various regulations
  • Regulatory Reporting BAU Operations experience and awareness of the following regulations is desirable (MiFID , EMIR, DMO Reporting, Commodities Position Reporting, Best Ex, Instrument Reporting, Trade Reporting, REMIT and SFTR)
  • Migrate BAU processes from other areas to TTR Operations, this will involve preparing operational procedures, workflows and preparing presentations and training the team
  • Experience of partnering with multiple areas including Technology, Change Management and Compliance
  • Partner with other support functions to remediate issues raised.
  • Be an active member of the Trade & Transaction Reporting Committee / Working Group, designed to track the remediation of current risks and issues, understand upcoming regulation and adapt the operating model as required
  • Work with Change Management and Technology to support regulatory reporting change initiatives on behalf of the Firm, as well as reviewing requirements to ensure they are complete and fit for purpose

Skills / experience required :

  • Any experience or understanding of Trade or Transaction Reporting would be desirable but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • Good organisational skills
  • Professional, reliable, conscientious
  • Analytical and numerate
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion
  • Systems used :

  • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
