Who You Are You are a dedicated and compassionate individual with a commitment to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Holding a NVQ 2 / 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, you possess the skills to undertake comprehensive assessments and develop recovery plans in the field of substance misuse. With a good standard of education, including GCSE English and Maths, you are IT literate, familiar with systems like Word, Excel, LAS, and Smart Office. Experience in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural therapy is desirable. Your knowledge encompasses both substance misuse and the criminal justice system. An effective team player, you thrive under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate a professional attitude, adhering to equal opportunities practices. What the Job Involves As a Recovery Facilitator, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and formulate recovery plans for adults and young people. Your role involves delivering a wide range of substance misuse interventions on a one-to-one and group basis, providing harm reduction advice, and liaising with partner agencies like schools, criminal justice agencies, and health professionals. Managing caseloads, you will undertake quarterly care plan reviews, and provide education to families and schools. Supporting partners' training needs, facilitating access to residential rehabilitation, and ensuring accurate record-keeping are key responsibilities. You commit to high-quality service, equal opportunities, GDPR compliance, and represent the DAAT in meetings as necessary.
