The role

As a Electrical Calibration Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Your role will include responsibility for the calibration, diagnosis and repair of Safety and Test and Measuring Equipment (T&ME), nucleonic Radiation Detection & Monitoring Equipment (RDME)

Day-to-day, you'll use approved quality systems to ensure the requirements of the Trident Strategic Weapon System (SWS), nuclear operations and other non-strategic customers are met.

• Comply with health and safety legislation, policies and standards
• Validation of procedures and analysing the effects of new and amended procedures
• Write paper document and software calibration procedures for new equipment and generate calibration checklists for new / different models to meet SWPT and departmental requirement
