Graphic Designer
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and talented mid-weight graphic designer to our fast growing team at luxury leather goods house Métier. As the Graphic Designer, you will be creating and delivering design projects on both digital and printed media. This exciting role requires a strong understanding of design and layout in a luxury environment, as well as creativity and the ability to work on multiple projects at once. In return we offer great exposure and first-hand insights to the creative and commercial strategies in a high growth environment within the luxury sector.
This is a full-time role, based in London, reporting to our Customer Director. The graphic designer works closely with senior team members of both the commercial team and the brand team, the latter led by the Creative Director.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Producing content in line with the brand guidelines for website, newsletter and social media platforms in line with the brand’s comms calendar
- Creating designs and mocking up artwork for all brand collaterals, including the brand book, look books, line sheets, event invitations, collaborations, B2B and press collaterals
- Create content for key social platforms including capturing and editing video, stills, GIFs etc.
- Editing existing videos and imagery for marketing purposes (Google, Instagram ads)
- Retouching of imagery, including resizing and colour correcting
- Producing the artwork for a range of printed materials including packaging and stationery
- Monitor design and fashion trends and provide research work to Art Director
- Supporting and collaborating with the Creative Director on a variety of graphic assets, as well as research work and mood boards
Key skills & Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in a similar role; prior experience working in the luxury or fashion industry is a plusStrong level of experience and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator, InDesign & PhotoshopGreat understanding and working knowledge of final cut / after effectsKnowledge of Premiere Pro an advantageGood understanding of print processesHave quality and consistency with all executions, with a keen eye for detail and finishA resourceful and motivated self-starter, with strong initiative and organisational skillsStrategic thinker who can problem solve as well as being highly organisedExceptional attention to detail, ability to prioritise and work under pressureRight to work in the UKPlease submit you CV and Portfolio.
