Working for a fantastic business on the outskirts of Newquay. The role will be recruited on a Temp to Perm basis.

Your new role

The main duties of the role are as follows;

• Collating and accounting for “end of day” routines and transactions across the businesses, including revenue recognition
• Daily analysis of bank transactions and processing these within the accounting systems
• Preparing monthly bank account reconciliations
• Accurate processing of journals into Sage
• Supporting the Accounts Payable Team in dealing with invoice processing, particularly during peak periods, to prevent any backlogs
• Assisting in maintaining accurate and reconciled aged creditors listings
• Preparing reconciliations for balance sheet account
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
• Supporting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Supervising and supporting team of Finance Assistants

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally be AAT qualified but we are happy to speak to candidates who are qualified by experience. Previous staff supervisory experience would be a bonus.
