Job Title : Electrical Site SupervisorLocation : Glasgow with site visits across the Central BeltSalary : £50-55k (Neg DOE), car / allowance (subject to role and level of position) plus excellent benefitsOur Client : Is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector. They have over 1,000 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting six long term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasingly in joint ventures and alliances.In Scotland they are part of a JV formed to deliver Scottish Water's Non-Infrastructure programme.The Role : You will report directly to the M & E Manager / Lead Site Supervisor and your role will supervise and control all electrical site activities in the most efficient manner, to the specification and within the contract time without risk to the health and safety of all concerned, providing a quality end product, ensuring a Quality installation as the work progresses.Responsibilities : Supervision of site electrical installationsEnsuring SHE standards are maintained and safe systems of work are being adhered to.Ensuring a high-quality product is being produced in line with current standards and specifications.Verification of new electrical systemsSafe isolation of LV electrical systemsMonitor supply chain performance and programmeReview and monitor supplier inspection and test plans ensuring they are up to date and relevant to the work activity.Attend site inductions and toolbox talks.Support Commissioning activities where required.Attend collaborative planning meetings and have an active role in developing site delivery programmesAs Electrical Appointed Person, ensure electrical safety rules are adhered to and supporting documentation is produced in line with electrical safety rules.Carry out electrical isolations.Carry out regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment.Hold 121's with supply chain supervisors as required ensuring take 5s are carried out.Assist with compilation of project takeover documentationOversee electrical testing is being undertaken in line with BS7671, review test results against guidance note 3 and manufacturers literature.Issue limitation of access permitsKeep a daily diary of site activities.Experience : SSSTS or SMSTS - RequiredAppointed Person Status - RequiredFAAW - Required.ECS card - Required.C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations - Required.NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations - Required.IEE 18th edition wiring regs - Required.2391 Test and Inspect - PreferredPrevious experience in a similar role is essentialPackage includes : A competitive salaryCar / car allowance (subject to role and level of position)25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with an additional 5 days available to buy)Contribution Pension schemeLife AssuranceHealth InsurancePrivate medical InsuranceMany more benefits including - cycle to work scheme, discounts and savings Hub, kids pass etcKey Words : Site SupervisorSite SupervisionSite ManagerSite ManagementConstructionElectrical EngineeringElectrical InstallationM&EMEICAAppointed PersonAPFAAWECS CardC&G 2330C&G 2360NVQ Level 318th EditionWater IndustryWater SectorWater TreatmentWastewaterWaste WaterSewageSMSTSSSSTSCSCSProcess IndustryUtilitiesRAMSRisk AssessmentsMethod StatementsPetrochemicalPower IndustryPower SectorPower GenerationEnergy SectorRenewablesEnergy from Waste
