We're recruiting ...Senior Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant. Please note that the role is home-based and is for a fixed term of 12 months.

You will provide analysis and reporting of manufacturing key operational data, working across the team to identify opportunities for automation, synergies and digitalisation. Support with driving a focus on customer profitability and waste reporting.

Senior Management Accountant key responsibilities will include :

  • Immerse into the business to fully understand operating systems and key drivers.
  • Actively seek out with site finance business partners tasks and processes which can be run centrally to create synergies and free up resource for additional value add work.
  • Design and implement new reporting to aid visibility and transparency of key performance data within the site leadership teams.
  • Coordinate and manage analysis into packaging material spend.
  • Work with other areas of the business, including Group on specific reviews and alignment activities.
  • Support Head of Financial Controlling - Manufacturing with analysis on customer profitability.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly milk consumption and cost of sales for review and sign off by site finance business partner's.
  • Consolidated reporting on waste and yields.
  • Work with Group Controlling to align on reporting.
  • Use SAP outputs to review for issues in product costings, BoMs and pricing, actively searching these out and drive resolution in conjunction with the site finance BP's and central data functions.
  • Share knowledge and learnings with other team members to ensure consistency and improvement.
  • Challenge results and anomalies with the sites to ensure high quality of information.
  • Support Commercial teams with new Tenders by ensuring the costings provided are robust, transparent and key cost drivers are understood.
  • Own manufacturing cost trackers, ensuring that they remain fit for purpose.
  • Ensure adherence to group standard costing methodology.
  • Support the Head of Financial Controlling - Manufacturing throughout the forecast and budget processes.

Key skills & experience for the Senior Management Accountant :

  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Proven Experience in FMCG.
  • Ability to operate at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and influence.
  • SAP experience.
  • Able to develop strong and independent relationships with Manufacturing leads.
  • Ability to drive improved controls within site teams.
  • Understand full processes to enable accurate reporting of performance.
  • Self-starter with the ability to drive improvements.
  • Demonstratable team player, also capable of working on own initiative, developing skills in new areas.
  • Able to demonstrate MMI core values in their role.
