Plant Mechanical Engineer – Foundry EnvironmentLocation : Dronfield, DerbyshireJob Type : Full-Time | Shift Pattern : Panama Days / NightsSalary : £52,000 per annum + Monthly BonusWe’re looking for a motivated and experienced engineer to join our client's maintenance team in Dronfield. • Preventative & Reactive Maintenance : Maintain and repair a range of mechanical plant and foundry equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics : Diagnose and resolve issues with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, maintaining performance and safety standards.
• Engineering Drawings : Confidently interpret and work from mechanical engineering drawings during installations, repairs, and upgrades.
• Health & Safety : Promote and adhere to all site safety practices, contributing to a safe and compliant working environment.What We’re Looking For :
• Experience : Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a foundry, heavy industry, or manufacturing environment.
• Technical Knowledge : Strong hands-on skills in hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Reading Drawings : Able to accurately interpret complex mechanical drawings.
• Qualifications : NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (preferred but not essential).What You’ll Get :
