The school is seeking educators to join them as soon as possible, on a full-time, temporary or permanent basis, to work as a cover supervisor. The role :
Cover supervisors are key to the effectiveness of the school. The role involves supervising whole classes during the absence of a teacher, providing short-term cover, and helping the students with their learning. Cover supervisors often get involved in the heart of the school and are familiar and trusted faces around the school. This includes tutor time as well as subject lessons. The position is suitable for an individual who is confident in working with young people and making a difference. Working as a Cover Supervisor is a fantastic opportunity to gain school-based experience to pursue a career in teaching. This opportunity would suit a Graduate or a candidate who is confident with classroom management and behaviour. The role may also be suitable for qualified teachers who would like to move to a non-teaching role or those returning to work.
