About the role :

We're looking for someone who's primarily focused on the day-to-day finance duties of the company. You will perform a variety of functions across the accounting department, and your role is integral to the continued achievement and successful running of our company. You will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller.

What you will do : On a day-to-day, you may be asked to assist with the following :

  • Sales invoice processing and credit control
  • Supplier invoice processing, setting up payments and answering queries
  • Bank postings & reconciliations
  • Track / approve daily expenses and prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly reports
  • VAT entry and submissions
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Month end close
  • Other finance tasks as required

Who you are :

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in finance and / or accounting
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and / or other mid-market system e.g. Sage, Netsuite, Xero etc.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with great attention to detail
  • Intermediate level Excel ability required
  • Ability to receive and implement feedback quickly
  • Believes no task is too small and feels energized by how seemingly small tasks contribute to larger company financial goals
  • Resourceful, hard working, and solutions oriented mindset you work to solve problems proactively and you are willing to go the extra mile to complete a task or help out a colleague.
