Position Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Solicitor or Associate in the Land and Rural sector. If you can work Independently and within a team structure on more complex cases and are looking for the opportunity to develop your career in an expanding Land and Rural Team, this opportunity could be perfect for you. The position encompasses a full range of land and rural work with multiple location options.

Key Duties :

  • Dealing with the sale and Purchase of estates, forests, farms and country houses
  • Advising on Issues such as crofting and agricultural holdings legislation
  • Delivering the highest levels of customer service to clients and professional relationships
  • Managing your own caseload
  • Collaborating on more complex cases
  • Participating in the preparation of business development plans and targets

Requirements :

  • Qualified solicitor with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in the land and rural sector although we will consider other applications from the right candidates
  • Strong knowledge of the Rural and Land sectors in Scotland
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a busy caseload efficiently.
