Performance & Emissions Certification Engineer

We are looking for a Performance and Emissions Certification Engineer to join our clients team on a 12 month renewable contract Peterborough Cambridgeshire.The successful contractor will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles or products meet regulatory standards for emissions and performance, through testing and certification processes. Plan, execute, and analyse tests to verify compliance with relevant regulations. This will involve engine testing, fuel economy evaluation, and other relevant aspects of vehicle performance. Key Responsibilities : Planning and Execution of Testing : This involves designing and conducting engine performance and emissions tests, ensuring data quality, and maintaining test result integrity. Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.Compliance Verification : Research and analyse customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects. Ensuring products meet all relevant regulations and standards for emissions and performance. Data Analysis and Reporting : Analysing test data, writing reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
