As they continue to expand their portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team and play a key role in securing and delivering high-quality projects.Location : StaffordshirePosition : Estimator - social housingSalary : £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + Car allowance + Package + Hybrid workingContract Type : PermanentAvailability : This role is immediately availableThe Role : As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed and competitive tenders for social housing refurbishment and maintenance projects. Working closely with the pre-construction, commercial, and operational teams, you will ensure that bids are accurate, commercially viable, and aligned with both client expectations and company objectives.Key Responsibilities : Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality cost estimates for social housing contractsReview and analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive pricing strategiesEngage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and value-driven solutionsIdentify project risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for cost efficiency and value engineeringCollaborate with internal stakeholders, including business development, commercial, and operational teamsAttend pre-tender and post-tender meetings, providing expert guidance and insightSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience as an Estimator within the social housing, refurbishment, or maintenance sectorStrong understanding of contract pricing, cost control, and estimating methodologiesExcellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet critical deadlinesStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator looking to make a meaningful impact within a company that is dedicated to improving homes, communities, and lives.How to Apply : If you are an Estimator interested in working for this established company, please apply with your updated CV
