Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
Role purpose
Bridges are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineering Manager to join us on a permanent and full time basis. This is a new role to Bridges due to movements within the company and it will have a pathway which will see you join the Senior Leadership Team. The role will see you manage the Mechanical Design Engineering team and support in the growth our Design Engineering capacity.
This role could suit someone stepping up in to the Manager position and we would welcome applications from Senior Design Engineer and Lead Design Engineer candidates.
The Role
Contracted to 42.5hrs per week Monday to Friday.
For the Engineering Manager We offer a hybrid working model which can be negotiated through hiring process, client meetings will take precedent. The role will include travel to and from client sites. We are looking for someone to be based within commutable distance to our Midsomer Norton HQ.
