MET Technician

MET TechnicianAvant Recruit are proud to be partnering with our client, a market leader within Accident Repair industry. We are currently searching for an MET Technician. This role is offered on a permanent basis with excellent benefits and competitive salary.The main responsibilities for the MET Technician are as follows :

• Carry out body repairs on various vehicle brands
• Mechanical, electrical and trim work including part replacement, stripping and fitting / ADAS calibrations / reset / steering columns / racks / subframes / suspension
• Damaged / defective part reporting during repair process
• Checking new part lists
• Follow correct repair methods as per manufacturer
• Liaise with Parts Department and VDA
• Follow check lists for quality control – lights, alignment, electrics etcTo be a successful candidate for the MET Technician role you must :
• Have previous experience in Accident Repair
• Have ATA / NVQ or similar, however, this is not essential as experience will be accepted
• Happy working in a busy environmentSalary and Benefits :
