Job descriptionMust hold a UK Class 2 C Driving Licence. Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Be passionate about providing excellent customer service. Working to deadlines. Confident, polite and a team player. Good geographical knowledge. Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated. Salary for Class 2 Day Driver between £36,pa - £43,pa, AND MORE! depending on hours worked. Hours of work are either : Monday – Friday, from 07 : 00hrs to circa 17 : 00hrs. Tuesday – Saturday, from 07 : 00hrs to circa 17 : 00hrs. Enhanced rates available for working weekends. Overtime available. The position of Class 2 Day Driver involves :
- Making multi drop collections and deliveries of pallets within the Pallet Network throughout Central Scotland.
- Loading / unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
- Planning route on a day to day basis.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
