Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a passionate learning support assistant / teaching assistants to work in Secondary Schools in the Borough of Sutton and the surronding Boroughs.About the roleThe role is full time, 8.30-4pm during term time, to start ASAPThe appointed candidate will be working with Key Stage 3 and 4 studentsYou will be required to support pupils during lesson time as well as deliver some interventions to students.Experience with SEN is essential, as pupils have ASD and ADHD.About the schoolSchools are located in the London Borough of Sutton and the surronding areasSmart Teachers work with a number of fantastic schools, both mainstream and independentSupportive SLT that offers excellent training and developmentClose to local transportRequirementsTo be considered for the role of Trainee Secondary Teaching Assistant - Sutton you will : A passion for working with Secondary age pupilsHave an excellent, proactive, can-do attitudeHave a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain oneSalary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are : Prior experience with secondary age childrenSmart Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
