We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a secondary school in Newcastle. For this job, the successful candidate will have a strong academic background and hold relevant teaching qualifications. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons to a diverse range of students, and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Your new role
- Delivering high-quality, engaging, and dynamic English lessons to students aged 11-16
- Creating and implementing lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum
- Assessing student progress and providing regular feedback to students and parents
- Supporting students with their academic and personal development
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the wider life of the school
