Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a full-time permanent position on behalf of our client based in East York.This position will entail the electrical maintenance on a variety of bagging production machinery.The ideal candidate will have an Electrical FMCG background.Specific machinery training / familiarisation shall be provided.Package : £51,597 (Basic)Schedule : 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday : 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pmFull Job DescriptionProviding day to day maintenance support to ensure all plant and machinery are maintainedto a high standard, to enable the safe and efficient running of the manufacturing operation.

• Ensure safe working practices are always observed to minimise risks to personnelwith production areas
• Ensure that scheduled and unscheduled maintenance are completed for all majoritems of plant equipment
• Support management processes for the maintenance programme
• Ensure that all documentation required for quality, health and safety andenvironment is completed satisfactorily
• In conjunction with the Technical Engineering Director and Management, provideassistance by collating specifications for any new or modified equipment
• To work with Siemens PLCs, motors and drives
• To be able to interpret drawings and technical manuals
