Minibus Driver

We are seeking an experienced driver to play a key role providing transport services to staff and pupils at Uppingham School.

Using the school’s fleet of minibuses and other vehicles you will cover the home to school service, as well as provide transport on school trips and for pupils’ medical and dental appointments.

In addition to driving, drivers are responsible for ensuring the safety of their allocated vehicle and must undertake a pre-journey safety check, report damage & faults, tidy vehicles before and after each journey, complete regular light maintenance, including oil and fluid checks, vehicle wash, tyre pressure check, fuelling and similar.

Regular training and testing are required as part of the role. Approved drivers will be insured under the school’s minibus insurance policy.
