Job Description
We are currently supporting our client, a Local Authority based in the East Midlands , who are currently recruiting for a Planned Maintenance Surveyor on a two month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, with the daily rate being £300 via an umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will ideally have experience working in the public sector, within social housing or a local authority, and preferably be HNC / RICS qualified.
Duties will include (but are not limited to) :
- Managing programmes of work & individual projects from inception, through the works process, all the way to completion
- Investigating & recommending material specifications and tenders for procurement in line with all association regulation and internal procedures
- Undertaking five to six inspections per day
- Covering major works inspections, including things like kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors and garages
