Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been engaged by a new client, a large business specialising in the sustainable energy sector and operating throughout the UK and Europe. The company have tasked us with sourcing an experienced Finance Assistant, a newly created full time and permanent opportunity. The role benefits from a largely remote working arrangement where the successful candidate will only be required to attend the company’s headquarters for one day each week.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this will be a busy, broad and interesting role where the successful candidate will play a key role in the efficient running of an often complex finance function. Key responsibilities include :
For this role, we seek a motivated and career-driven Finance Assistant with at least two years of recently gained experience in a similar capacity, ideally working in a high-volume transactional environment. Candidates may be part / fully AAT / professionally qualified or suitably qualified through vocational experience. The company is keen to implement digital system improvements, so good IT aptitude and excellent SAGE / MS Excel skills are essential. This is a highly visible role that works with an energetic team and liaises with colleagues throughout the business, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
