Principal ICA Engineer

Our Client has a requirement for a Principal ICA Engineer, who will be required to work on a REMOTE contract basis.
Job Role Responsibilities :
- Develop and refine ICA Template and Detailed Designs for AMP8, ensuring they meet technical, regulatory, and performance requirements.
- Ensure the right technical requirements are fed into the Project Technical Template ICA designs.
- Lead, mentor and develop others undertaking ICA template design engineering.
- Review and approve ICA designs to ensure compliance with Thames Water engineering best practices, industry standards, and safety protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members in ICA template design engineering, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Undertake ancillary Instrument and Electrical design for ICA panels, including expertise in PLC, I / O, UPS, and Electrical SLD / LVDB design capabilities, while maintaining high standards of functionality, operability and reliability.
- Lead the optimisation of control panel design engineering, ensuring the development of standardised templates that deliver efficient, cost-effective, and durable solutions, enhancing the performance and reliability of Thames Water’s infrastructure.
- Work will be home based / visiting sites & offices in the TWUL area (so probably Midlands or further South based).
