Job Title : English and Maths KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor

Location :

East of England, Essex, Ardleigh

Job Type :

Temporary, Part-Time hours

Salary : 20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties :

Provide English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual learning needs of each student
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
Work collaboratively with school staff and parents to support student learning
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Required Qualifications :

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs

Education :

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience :

At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students

Knowledge and Skills :

Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practises

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Organisational skills and ability to maintain accurate student records

Preferred Qualifications :

Additional training or certification in SEN teaching

Experience in outreach or community-based education programmes

Working Conditions :

Part-Time hours, temporary position

Work may involve travel to different locations within the East of England (Learners homes, local libraries and schools)

Collaborative work environment with school staff and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
