Senior Care Assistant Days

About Us :

We are looking to recruit caring, enthusiastic, committed and professional individuals to deliver excellent care to our new and existing residents and be part of a team that is committed to provide long-term and short-term care for our residents.

We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant who will have supervisory duties, help lead a team and work alongside the Team Leader.

The successful application will work alongside a well-established nursing home and team and enjoy engaging with the Client Group.

Hourly Rate : £13.40 - £15.25 per hour

Hours : 39hrs

Job Purpose :

To plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality care in conjunction with Clients.

To ensure Service Users retain their dignity and individuality.

To get involved in the general activities of the Home.

To maintain a safe and secure environment for Service Users, Staff Members and Visitors.

To assist Nurses in the supervision of care staff.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications - Essential :

Genuine interest in and experience of working with, the older person

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in English

Satisfactory PVG Record Check

SVQ Level 3 in Care

Ability to dispense medication.

Desired : Team player

Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes

Previous supervisory experience
