We are looking for a full-time Lower KS2 Teacher for a friendly primary school in the Wallasey area of the Wirral. The post will run until March 2025, starting in September 2024. Candidates must have previous experience of teaching lower key stage 2 classes, and the school will consider teachers from M2 scale upwards.

Your new role

As a lower KS2 Teacher in the school, you will have full teaching responsibility, including planning and delivering high-quality, creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and follow the national curriculum. You will also be expected to assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback and support, and work collaboratively with other staff and parents. You will also have the opportunity of involvement in extracurricular activities.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this Lower KS2 Teacher role, you will need to have :

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
• Experience of teaching lower key stage 2 classes
• Evidence of delivering pupil progress through innovative and creative teaching
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Amitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
