Job description

Do you have a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities to help them achieve greater independence? Are you enthusiastic, resilient, and motivated to make a meaningful difference in their lives?

We are currently seeking experienced Adult Learning Disability Support Workers . This service provides supported living for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments. Your role will involve assisting residents along their care pathways, helping them lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

Location : Chipstead

Pay : £13.96 per hour (including holiday pay)

As an Adult Learning Disability Support Worker, you will :

  • Provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.
  • Observe, monitor, and document patient conditions with care, dignity, and honesty.
  • Support residents in their progression towards living as independently as possible.
  • Work as part of a team of multidisciplinary professionals.

    • To be successful in this role, you'll need :

  • A strong desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
  • An empathetic, caring, and resilient approach.
  • At least 6 months' experience working in a social care setting.
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one).
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • A valid driving license (essential due to rural location).
