Position : Quantity Surveyor

Salary : Dependent on Experience and Skillset (ideally 5+ years')

Company Overview :

We are a dynamic construction company specializing in fit-outs and small builds, with a particular focus on retail and education sectors. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Essex office and contribute to multiple ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee up to three construction projects simultaneously.
• Conduct evaluations and perform all Quantity Surveyor duties, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and cost plans.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure accurate project costing.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to gather and evaluate project requirements.
• Prepare and manage contracts, variations, and claims.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Provide regular financial reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders and bids.
