About the Role
We are seeking to appoint Invigilators at our HSDC Havant campus to work as part of a team in maintaining a high standard of student care and supervision during our busy exam periods. Our Invigilators play a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the exams / assessment process, ensuring that the exams are run in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), the awarding body and HSDC regulations.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for :
- Working as part of the college invigilation team and maintaining a high standard of student care and supervision in an exam environment.
- Ensuring the exam room is set up and complies with JCQ, awarding body and HSDC regulations.
- Protecting the integrity of the exams process ensuring all candidates comply with regulations.
- Ensuring candidates are given all relevant instructions, regulations, and correct question papers.
- Supervising candidates during exams, including when candidates leave the room and when required, between exams.
Requirements
You will need :
English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE Grade C) or aboveAn attention to detailFlexibility of working hours (this may include evening invigilation requests)The ability to liaise with college staff at all levelsPrevious invigilation experience (desirable)Experience of working in education (desirable)Benefits
