Morrison Water Services is recruiting for a Planning Coordinator to work on our Welsh Water contract in Wales.

As the Planner you will have full accountability for planning work, raising notices, permits including street works applications for Traffic Management. Through exceptional communication with internal and external customers, validation of onsite videos and systems you will execute a right first-time plan for every job, whilst effectively updating and managing through the client and business systems.

As the Planning Coordinator your responsibilities will include :

  • You will take ownership of all planned work, coordinating the job from receipt through to job completion.
  • You will own the priority of the work, constructing the correct resource to site in a logical and safe manner.
  • You will plan orders within the client SLA’s whilst optimising travel time and increasing team productivity.
  • You will ensure the highest level of service is delivered to both external and internal customers, giving excellent customer satisfaction every time.
  • You will use the client systems real time, assigning work on time and ensuring all operations are created, assigned, and recorded.
  • You will provide positive input into the team, providing challenge in a constructive way and solutions to issues.
  • You will ensure that safety issues are reported in line with Company procedures.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in data.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications, including data entry tools and database management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
  • Experience in the utilities industry or with meter data processing is highly desirable
