Our client is part of a leading manufacturing group of high quality and innovative flexographic printed products.

They are currently recruiting for a Pre- Press Operator who will also provide printing cover for holidays and sickness. Longer term the company are expanding with investment in new presses so the role will eventually move into a full time printing position.

Responsibilities :

Preparing digital files for print production, optimising layouts, adjusting colour profiles and resolving technical issues to ensure high-quality printed materials.
To collaborate with Designers and Printers to facilities a seamless transaction from digital design to the final print product.
To assist with flexo press operation during periods of sickness or holiday cover, ensuring that jobs are produced to the highest quality level and that the quality procedures are followed.
Responsibility for cleanliness and general maintenance of equipment used in the process.
To relay information through the specification sheet on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process.
You will be working with the Production Manager to continually improve quality, processes, and production efficiencies.

Skills / Experience :

Strong diligence.

A good understanding of colour and colour mixes.

Able to understand and follow clear work instructions.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.

Flexible approach and able to use own initiative when required.

Ability to effectively manage your own workload.

Effective time management skills are essential.

Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict delivery deadlines.
