Part-Time Learning Support Assistant - SEN Support Location : Tooting Year Group : Year 4 Days : Thursdays and Fridays Start : ASAP Role Type : SEN Support - Part-TimeA supportive mainstream primary school in Tooting is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Learning Support Assistant to join their team two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays) to support a pupil in Year 4 with special educational needs (SEN).Role Responsibilities : Provide 1 : 1 SEN support to a pupil in Year 4, assisting with their learning and emotional needs.Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow the pupil's Individual Education Plan (IEP).Encourage engagement, participation, and independence in learning tasks.Support the pupil with behaviour management, social interaction, and emotional regulation.Ensure the pupil feels safe, supported, and included in classroom activities.Learning Support Assistant Requirements : Previous SEN experience is essential, particularly supporting children with additional needs in a primary school setting.A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils.Ability to build a strong, supportive relationship with the pupil and wider school team.Comfortable working two full days (Thursdays and Fridays) on a long-term basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about special educational needs who is looking for part-time work in a welcoming school environment.Reeson Education : Reeson Education is the England's Premier Recruitment Agency.
