About the Role

We are recruiting full-time staff for established home and community-based programmes across North London, specifically Brent, Haringey, and Camden Boroughs. You will work as part of a team supporting service users with autism and learning disabilities, focusing on life skills and community participation. We welcome experienced graduates, professionals from other disciplines interested in supporting teenagers and young adults, and candidates with experience in ABA or PBS settings. Beam ABA Services adopts a "positive risk taking" approach to increase independence and improve quality of life for the young people we support.
Requirements : You must have a clean UK driving licence that allows you to drive an automatic car, with no penalty points or offences.

Key Responsibilities
Implement person-centred programmes using ABA and PBS best practices.Support service users by teaching functional and communication skills, promoting empowerment.Monitor and record data accurately daily.Support individuals during crises, including behaviours of concern.Assist with personal care and self-help skills.Model professional behaviour and ensure programme materials are organized.Attend training, meetings, and complete e-learning modules.Promote safeguarding and wellbeing.Implement positive handling plans as required.Support during evenings and weekends.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Skills
At least 1 year of applied experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or autism.Experience supporting non-verbal individuals and promoting alternative communication.Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Psychology or related field.2+ years of relevant experience.Experience with behaviours of concern and ABA / PBS methodologies.Clean UK driver’s license.Compensation and Additional Benefits
Hourly rate : £12.82-£13.50; salary from £25,000-£26,325 for 37.5 hours / week, with overtime potential.30 days' paid holiday pro-rata.Support for professional development, including RBT, MSc in ABA, BCaBA, BCBA, NVQ Levels.Costs covered for DBS checks.Immediate start for eligible candidates.Additional benefits : cashback schemes, cycle-to-work, tech discounts, Blue Light Card, and free training.Other Details
