Academics are looking for a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to help Teachers deliver the best possible classroom experience for students in Macclesfield.

A primary school in Macclesfield is in need of a Primary School Teaching Assistant to provide either classroom support or 1 : 1 SEN support for students in their classes. This role can be either Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2) or Upper and Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 through to 6) depending on your own personal preferences.

Although a level-3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, it is not essential. All we ask is that you are dedicated, flexible and passionate about education.

So, what will you be doing as a Primary School Teaching Assistant?

• Helping the Teacher deliver their pre-planned lessons in an engaging and creative manner
• Assist students that are struggling with classwork to make sure that their experience in the classroom is no worse than any other students
• Produce exciting displays in collaboration with students to show the work they have been partaking in during school time
• When required, sit in 1 : 1 with SEN students to make sure that their needs are met correctly met
