Making A Difference as A Leisure Assistant in Leisure, Place Services Directorate

Do you hold a Lifeguard qualification? Think you would you enjoy working in a leisure environment and become a great asset to our front-line customer service team? If so, dive into this role with passion, motivation, and creativity to deliver outstanding customer service for Go Active.

Newton-le-Willows Health and Fitness is looking for a suitable experienced individual with excellent customer care skills to work in the Council's Health & Fitness facility. Ideally, we are looking for someone with first-hand experience of working in the Leisure Industry, who enjoys working as part of a team and has excellent communication skills with a good understanding of service delivery.

Day to day duties will include swimming pool supervision, general cleaning and housekeeping tasks and equipment set up. Each of these tasks requires a high level of interaction and communication with customers, including the completion of customer facility tours. You will be required to work shifts including evenings, early mornings and weekends and we need a commitment to working flexibly to meet the needs of the service, to provide cover for colleagues and to attend training when required.
